Advertisement spotlight again! This time we are going to look at Chili's and their advertising of the food quality and dining experience.
First one ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whqi_fjA4RU ) is pretty recent and describes the happening on what happens at table 19. This ad focuses on prioritizing our emotional needs and our important relationships with people (such as a new romantic relationship, friends, etc.). Its very interesting that there is no actual promoting of their food, which is their main service. Such precious memories can happen at any restaurant, but Chili's wants viewers to know that their restaurant is more friends and family friendly, especially with their new slogan "More Life Happens Here".
Ironically, their goal to persuade customers to eat at the restaurant where "more life happens" follows only a few months after this commercial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97jgczsm4oI&feature=related ), where they convince smart phone owners the ease of getting their dinner from Chilis To-Go.
